The Department of Statistics is a science that studies how to collect, analyze, and present data in an easy-to-understand language so that it can be used as information for many people.
Educational Goals:
The objectives of the D3 Statistics Study Program are as follows:
  1. producing middle statisticians with profiles as managers of statistical activities, data processors and presenters, data analysts, and survey officers who are qualified, superior, and have integrity and follow the development of science and technology
  2. produce useful research in the development and application of statistical science, especially official statistics
  3. producing works of community service that can increase public understanding of the use of statistics (especially official statistics) and improve public welfare
